Question by Rescue & Foster Mom: How are the Kuranda dog beds?
I’ve noticed some shelters around my area and the rescue group I work with have a link to kuranda dog beds if people want to donate to them. Are these beds really good for the dogs? What makes them better than others?

Just curious since I may want one for my dog….

Also, if I decide to get one, what size should I get? I have a 45lb german shorthaired pointer mix?

Best answer:

Answer by G
I always thought people bought Kuranda beds (or the knock off versions…) because they’re easy to clean and it’s unlikely a dog would chew it thus being a good product for shelters/ dog boarding centers.
On the site that sells them they probably have a chart describing the sizes and which is best depending on the size of your dog.

Personally I like Bowser pet beds better. They’re more attractive looking and also durable. http://www.bowsers.com/en/products/p31.php?CID=2

What do you think? Answer below!

My Top 5 Modest Canine Breeds

Modest dogs can be fantastic for a amount of causes. The very first one I can think of is area. In today’s society absolutely everyone seems to be on-the-go and fantastic at multitasking! A range of people are residing in apartments and most individuals function all day away from residence. Small canines need limited workout which is very good for small spaces and all those busy people.

They also do not consume as significantly as huge dogs, typically. Along with this they will burn up individuals calories in a matter of minutes! One more perk to modest canines is that they do not shed as significantly. Some smaller sized canines do still shed, but they will by no means have near as much fur and some almost do not shed at all. This is wonderful if you do not have time to do extra vacuuming, have allergy symptoms, or are obsessed with getting a clean residence. So apart from the reduced shedding and lower servicing, are there much more fantastic traits? Absolutely!

Modest dogs can be trained to find out commands, even so it really depends on the breed and dog to decide how rapidly they will learn.

The excellent factor is most small dogs have large brains compared to their entire body dimension and can catch on rapidly. Canines are lovable animals and want to be all around men and women. So I imagine that any dog can be great about youngsters if the young children know how to deal with the dogs. Any child who is too rough with a canine, huge or tiny, is placing themselves at chance. I consider small dogs are less difficult for kids to mistreat since of mistaking their dimension for a toy canine as an alternative of a gentle puppy. Here are my top rated ten modest canine breeds in no certain order.

one. Chihuahua – They come in two types of coats either long haired or smooth coat which is also known as short haired. Acknowledged for their huge ears that make them really alert.

Come in a lot of various colors and they weigh anyplace from 2-8 pounds. Usually deemed very good view canines. They love becoming affectionate and are undoubtedly a lap canine. Fantastic companion.

2. Bichon Frise- Stunning white canine with a prolonged, curly coat but little shedding. Excellent for people who really like their tidy homes. Wants to be a part of a family members and will hate getting left alone for also long. Can be stubborn but also extremely delicate. Really should only be about 12 pounds.

3. Pomeranian- Independent and devoted. Sometimes also confident. Thick coat with an undercoat, have a tendency to get warm rapid. Grooming will call for brushing simply because shed a lot.
