It’s worth remembering that the possibilities aren’t merely a matter of renumbering the order in which obstacles are performed. Possibilities arises from how you extend your skills as a handler; how you challenge your own game. This requires experimentation, and patience, and observation of the working dynamics between you and your dog! You will see front crosses, reverse flow pivots (rfp), and using body language to show the dog where to go. The more you practice the more confidence you and your dog will have. Remember if you mess up and accidentally send your dog over the wrong jump, and your dog did exactly as you asked even if you told him wrong, REWARD your dog! After all it is not his fault if you mess up. Trust me we all mess up from time to time and we do not want our dogs to shut down and think it is their fault! 9 of 10 times it is handler error!
